Video footage from KTH on the 26th of May. Three students getting harassed by a group of guards with a dog, and several police officers (one with a rifle) on KTH campus when taking a walk. The students were stopped, surrounded, questioned and asked to open bags, despite not having done anything besides taking a walk on their campus.
This is one of several instances that have occurred more frequently since the increased guard and police presence that KTH admin has chosen to deploy in response to their students protesting against KTH’s collaborations with some of the facilitators of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians.
Today, the day after they called the police on KTH students for using their contintutional right to protest, KTH administration announces that their solution to the situation escalated by the “tighter” security measures, is “thighter” security measures.
