In front of the Lund Cathedral and next to Palestinagård by Lund University where the students were forcibly forced and where police used excessive violence to vacate the place, the students staged a sit-in in front of the doctoral students graduation ceremony and said what they wanted to say.

The day after the police violently raided the Lund University student encampment at Palestinegård, students once again gathered on campus, condemning police actions and renewing their demands for
– make a public statement in solidarity with Palestine, which also highlights the academy’s responsibility.
‏- make public all institutional and financial cooperation with Israeli institutions and companies that are involved in the Israeli occupation.
‏-contributes to financial, political and academic support for the Palestinian education system as well as Palestinian students, researchers and teachers.
‏-make public and end all institutional and financial cooperations with Israel.

An increased guard precense have not made KTH students safer. The guards have no way of knowing if you are an kth-student even if you ID-yourself.

TATTOOS FOR PALESTINE
This Sunday @monkeybiz_tat will be at the Free University of Gaza – Campus Uppsala, from 12:00 to 18:00 for an afternoon of tattoos and anti-Zionism.

Oskyldiga människor dödas i Gaza för varje dag som går. Passivitet innebär medskyldighet till folkmord, och Umeå Universitet har ett ansvar att agera, precis som man gjorde med Ukraina 2022.

Istället har universitetsledningen varit passiva, och gradvis vidtagit åtgärder för att det ska bli svårare för oss att nå ut med vårt budskap och våra krav. Istället för bjuda in till dialog har de låst dörrarna. Vi tycker att detta är fegt gjort.

Under natten tog vi ner vårt tältläger, och lämnade platsen. Vi vill tacka alla som har stöttat oss under dessa veckor, och alla som har engagerat sig.

UmUs studenter och lärare står på Palestinas sida. Bara för att universitetet nu tar sommarlov, så innebär inte det att folkmordet upphör. Tvärtom ser vi inga indikationer på att ett eldupphör är nära, och det är därför viktigare än någonsin att ta ställning, och kräva att våra makthavare gör allt de kan för att stoppa det som sker.
