Över 130 lärare har skrivit under på ett uttalande i stöd med vår campusockupation. Idag fick vi sällskap av många lärare och stunder under lunchen, och fortsätter vi ställa krav på universitetet att säga nej till folkmord❌

More than 130 teachers have signed a statement supporting our encampment. Today we had company of many teachers and students during lunchtime, and together we’ll keep demanding the university to say no to genocide❌

GAZA SOLIDARITY ENCAMPMENT DAY 10. 🍉

Today we had a workshop about first aid and celebrated the birthday of one of the campers! ☀️🎂

Our community continues learning and showing up for Gaza!

Today, Olof Bortz gave an insightful lecture on settler colonialism and Zionism. We ended the day with an inspiring chat with @nourbadra811, winner of @falastinvision, while last night, we watched a movie about Italian social movements.

As part of our daily walk-ins, we keep raising our voices across campuses!

We even connected with the movement in Lund and received this lovely gift @luacademicsforpalestine @lundstudentsforpalestine

Linda Åkerström – Svenska freds @svenskafreds

Swedish arms trade with Israel.

Linda Åkerström will hold a session om Swedish arms trade with Israel and Israeli arms companies, as well as collaborations between universities, schools and the Swedish arms industry.

Linda Åkerström is Head of policy and advocacy at Swedens biggest peace organization, the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society, Svenska Freds. She is the author of the book ”Den svenska vapenexporten” (The Swedish arms trade).

Day 10.
We started the day with a first aid workshop, which was very appreciated! After lunch we had an emotional release workshop outside of the principal’s office- refreshing and revitalising! Highly recommend. This was followed by thorough research and investigation regarding Swedish law, academic freedom and SU’s agreements with the Israeli universities. We’ve also talked to many professors, students and other academics passing by Fria Palestinas Plats. Later on, during the sunset, we shared a delicious drink.
